Los Angeles, CA (September 8, 2009) – As a leading online printing company for over 25 years, UPrinting has decades of experience in non-profit and small business marketing. The UCommunity Program is part of UPrinting.com’s mission to give back to the community by helping non-profit oragnizations achieve their charitable goals.

UPrinting.com is sponsoring a not-for-profit company of young artists called Ensemble 113, providing custom posters and postcards to help the organization create public awareness. Chicago’s Ensemble 113 was founded in Spring 2008 by Artistic Director Clayton Fox. Its members have studied theater at top universities that produce the highest-calibre artists.

Their most recent production, Brought to Life, which played August 7th and 8th, was a unique theatrical experience that melded ritualistic storytelling with interactive performances. The audience was involved in the performance, participating in the telling of the stories. The performance teaches the importance of letting go of those who have passed on, learning to respect the sacred, and understanding the place of each individual within his or her destiny.

Ensemble 113 spokesperson Corey Lubowich said, “As a small theatre company starting out, money is tight and trying to keep ticket prices accessible is a challenge. UPrinting’s sponsorship was invaluable in helping us promote our original production Brought to Life. Posters and postcards are the primary way we create awareness about our company and our productions in our community. Every person from UPrinting we dealt with in creating these materials was incredibly helpful in making sure our project was perfect. The posters and postcards arrived quickly and looked phenomenal! The professional printing really helped us reach our community, and the affordability and service are icing on the cake!”

About Ensemble 113:
From its origins as a group of alumni from the Niles North Theatre (2007 recipient of Kennedy Center Award for Arts Education), Ensemble113 has grown into a theater company of young artists committed to bringing ensemble-generated work to Chicago’s North Shore. Members have studied theatre at top universities including: DePaul University, New York University, Northwestern University, the University of Illinois, and the University of Michigan. Ensemble members have worked with prominent Chicago theaters such as Northlight, Steppenwolf, and Chicago Shakespeare. By exploring the unique opportunities afforded by live theatre, Ensemble113 hopes to make performance a necessary and accessible part of the community.
