The circus always had this unexplainable appeal. Maybe it’s the spectacle or the mystique each show brings. It could be because of how little we know about the performers and the life they live when the curtains are down. Whatever the case may be, it doesn’t change the fact that circus-themed designs can really attract any kind of audience. The theme can be tweaked almost effortlessly to attract families who are into good, clean fun down to those who are into the odd, seemingly creepy nature of it all.

Circuses even make it easy for graphic designers to incorporate a number of techniques into their designs. They could use vector graphics, photography, and even typography. Just to show you how flexible circus-themed designs are, here are 20 examples.
