How Uniform Printed Materials Are Your Company’s Uniform

May 8, 2008

What's New

If most people see a blue baseball cap with a white NY on it or a silver football helmet with a blue star, they will be able to associate them with the New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys respectively.  That is because those franchises have spent the time to associate those symbols with themselves by years of use and promotion.   The same theory applies to other businesses.   You can associate particular color schemes, logos and designs with your company by systematically presenting them in conjunction with your company and its products.

The best way to do this is by the use of uniform printed materials.  From business cards to envelopes to letterhead, your company’s printed materials should be designed to present a uniform look and image.    In other words, when someone gets one of your printed materials, they should be able to tell it is from your company by the logo, colors and designs.

This continued association of your company and brand with a particular color scheme and logo will eventually create a link in your customer’s mind which ties that color scheme and logo to your product.    This association makes it easier for the customer to remember and by extension, utilize your company and its products.
