    I guess I had an experience of that. Haven’t have a proof, that’s why the resulting print out of my order is not exactly what I wanted to be.

    I have worked for a number of printers, large format and otherwise and I know that their are only a few reasons why a printer would not provide a free proof for a job.
    1- They don’t want to incur any extra cost by providing a free proof
    2- They don’t want to be blamed for any mistakes made.
    Great article, buyer beware of any printer that doesn’t give you a free proof!
