Are These People Serious?
According to this article, the American Beverage Institute took out a full page advertisement in USA Today to oppose the concept of putting an interlock device in every single vehicle in America. The American Beverage Institute is a restaurant trade association which according to it’s website is:
“dedicated to protecting the on-premise dining experience — which often includes the responsible consumption of adult beverages. We are the only organization in the nation that unites the wine, beer, and spirits producers with distributors and on-premise retailers in this important mission.“
In other words, it’s mission is to protect the important right of people to drink in their restaurants and then drive home.

As we’ve discussed previously, exclusivity is a great way to create brand loyalty by creating the idea that the users of your product are an exclusive group.
